Your Guide

Claudia Miró

Claudia was born in Lima, Peru and has always been fascinated with the unique culture and history of her homeland. In 2008, she made her first trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu, a trip that deeply transformed her life…

She fell in love with the Andes and its people, dynamic fusion of cultures, historical ruins and ancient sites, powerful mystical energy, and stunning geography. She began working with nonprofits and embarked on a chapter of traveling, living, and working in Peru. Claudia believes deeply in the transformative power of travel and the cultural and energetic dynamics of Peru specifically. She is passionate about sharing her country with those seeking meaningful, sustainable, and transformative travel experiences!

Travel Itinerary

Days 1-2 :

Lima

Our trip kicks off with two exciting days and nights in the beautiful Metropolitan seaside city of Lima, the capital of Peru and the largest city in the country. In the city you will be able to see balconies that were a major feature of Lima’s architecture during the colonial period. We will explore the best hotspots and historic city center during the Lima city tour, get a taste of Peru’s world-class gastronomy, cuisine, and typical dances during a highly entertaining dinner show, visit the privately owned Museo Larco full of pre-columbian art housed in a gorgeous 18th-century vice-royal building built over a 7th-century pre-Columbian pyramid, and be wowed by the Magic Circuit of Water (Lima Fountain Show). On our final night, enjoy a delicious dinner at one of Lima’s top restaurants created by internationally renowned Peruvian chef, Gaston Acurio.

Days 3 & 4 :

Ica & Paracas

Transport to Ica, on route stops at local sights: Barranco and Chincha, lunch on arrival. Afternoon pisco tour, and overnight at Peruvian vineyard. The netx day we will head out on an excursion to Islas Ballestas from Paracas. A little time to spend in Paracas after the tour and then transport to the oasis of Huacachina for lunch. Transport back to Lima.

Days 5-13 :

Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu

Experience the magic of one of the most fascinating, and energetically potent places on earth. We’ll spend 5 days & nights in the mystical Sacred Valley of Cusco, enjoying the various towns, Inca ruins and colorful artisan markets including Pisac, Urubamba, Chincherro, and Ollantaytambo. We’ll soak in two full days exploring the epic citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the wonders fo the world, and a life-changing experience. Day visit to Manos Unidas, the first private school for children with special needs.

Days 12-14 :

Arequipa & Colca Canyon

2 days in the beautiful Spanish colonial “white city” at the foot of the Andes. Visit to Textile artisans and museum. Arequipa city tour. Visit to Colca Canyon, the second deepest canyon on earth and where you can see Condors flying in their natural habitat. Visit a textile museum and see how yarn is spun from the fur of Alpacas, Llamas and Vicuñas. Travel back to Arequipa, enjoy a delicious dinner and the city’s vibrant night life!
